I just was never a TV or movie watcher and still am not one, but I love recommendations that are special to others and have heard about Buffy alot so I have already been thinking about getting them. No, I'm never to be a writer (I want to read them all! I loved the movie when it came out and watched it a few times. I kept meaning to check out the tv show, but it always seemed like I was too late to check out something that was already in mid-hype, if you know how that works.

Regardless - I'm not sure the movie was a flop per se. I think it had quite an underground-ish appeal. It was clever and interesting, and I think the clever and interesting people got it. But what's a flop? Something that doesn't make a bazillion dollars, I guess.

Interesting to read, as usual, Cat.
